Jang Ki-yong & Ahn Eun-jin Finally Kiss as 'Dynamic Kiss' Hits No. 1 in Its Time Slot
Kiss for No Reason!‘Dynamic Kiss’ finally gave fans the moment they were waiting for: Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin’s characters confirmed their feelings and sealed it with a kiss.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 12th, Episode 10 of SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Dynamic Kiss’ drew a 6.6% nationwide rating with a peak of 7.8%, ranking No. 1 across all channels in its time slot and marking five straight weeks as the top weekday drama. Add to that two consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Non-English Top 10 (Nov. 24-Dec. 7), and the series is reigning both at home and abroad.

In the latest episode, Gong Ji-hyeok (Jang Ki-yong) and Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin) finally found their way to each other. The tender, swoon-worthy kiss ending promised a full-on romance ahead and delivered the quintessential rom-com butterflies.

Earlier, Ji-hyeok learned that Kim Sun-woo (Kim Moo-jun) had confessed to Da-rim and refused to let her walk away. “Don’t go. I don’t want to let you go,” he said before diving in for a kiss. But Da-rim, still believing Ji-hyeok was engaged to Yoo Ha-young (Woo Da-bi), pushed him away. Even after Ji-hyeok admitted he liked her, Da-rim couldn’t believe it―why would he care for someone who had nothing and had even lied to him?

The next day, Ji-hyeok went all-in. He kept telling Da-rim exactly why he liked her. Meanwhile, his mother Kim In-ae (Nam Gi-ae) and Da-rim’s mother Jung Myeong-sun (Cha Mi-kyung) were discharged and headed to Da-rim’s place, giving Ji-hyeok the perfect excuse to drop by―only to find Sun-woo already there. Their petty-but-adorable rivalry sparked fresh laughs.

Still, Da-rim couldn’t quite trust that Ji-hyeok’s feelings were real―until her mother’s advice rang in her ears: “Judge people by what they do, not what they say.” She thought back to Jeju Island and every tough moment since, when Ji-hyeok had shown up and stood by her. That’s when it clicked: he meant every word.

Soon after, a photo exhibition organized by the Mother TF team, Ha-young, and Sun-woo opened―attended by Ha-young’s suspicious brother, Yoo Tae-young (Jung Hwan). Ji-hyeok spotted a mysterious man hauling a gas can and tailed him. A scuffle broke out, and Ji-hyeok was knocked unconscious. Moments later, as feared, a blaze erupted, and Da-rim sprinted into the flames to save him.

She carried Ji-hyeok out of the building. When he came to, he pulled her into a tight embrace and confessed, “I don’t need a reason to like you. I like you because you’re you. I love you.” With tears in her eyes, Da-rim answered with a kiss―an aching, heart-pounding finale that confirmed their love at last.

Episode 10 kept viewers in a chokehold with flirty push-and-pull, tender beats, and a fizzy spark, while the leads’ crackling chemistry, layered performances, and rhythmic direction dialed the fun all the way up.

With feelings finally aligned, Ji-hyeok and Da-rim’s romance is officially on. ‘Dynamic Kiss’ airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m. KST.
