SHINee ONEW Shuts Down 'Injection Aunt' Rumors: "I Only Went for Skin Treatments"
OnewSHINee’s ONEW has addressed speculation linking him to “A,” the so-called “injection aunt” at the center of comedian Park Na-rae’s ongoing controversy.

On the 11th, ONEW’s agency Griffin Entertainment said the singer first visited a Sinsa-dong clinic in April 2022 on a friend’s recommendation, where A was employed, explaining that this was their initial point of contact.

Park Na-rae is currently embroiled in a legal battle after former managers accused her of workplace abuse. Adding fuel to the fire, she’s also been accused of receiving illegal IV drips and proxy prescriptions from A, a woman nicknamed the “injection aunt.” No record of a Korean medical license for A has been found, further intensifying the scandal.

Amid the uproar, past social posts surfaced showing A flaunting a signed CD from ONEW, sparking speculation that the K-pop star had ties to her.

In response, the label said it would have been hard to suspect any licensing issues “given the clinic’s size and profile” at the time. They added, “ONEW’s visits were strictly for skin care, and the signed CD was simply a thank-you for treatment.”

“We regret that unfounded narratives about our artist are being recklessly amplified online,” Griffin continued. “We hope the baseless speculation stops, and we will continue to do everything we can to protect our artist’s reputation and rights.”
