After "I'll Catch Them" Speech, Accuser Drops More Alleged Lee Yi-kyung DMs; Agency Doubles Down

Actor Lee Yi-kyung, 36, has filed a complaint against the woman behind online claims about his private life, calling them false. On the 12th, the woman pushed back again, posting what she says are additional social media DMs with the actor to argue they weren’t doctored.

Identified only as A, the woman wrote on X, “If you still think it’s AI, raise your hand. This is really the last one. If this is real, then the rest of the KakaoTalk chat is real, right? I’m embarrassed, but here it is,” sharing a video of the messages.

According to what she posted, on Jan. 26 of last year she messaged, “You’re my type. Would you be okay with a foreigner?” Lee allegedly replied, “Your Korean is really good. Which country are you in?” She then sent a voice note and, at his request, a selfie.

She further claims Lee reacted to a partially covered photo with remarks like “You hid it with flowers,” asked about her chest and bra size―“E-cup?”―and wrote, “I’ve never seen one in my life,” before requesting her KakaoTalk ID.

Earlier, at the Asia Artist Awards 2025 at Kaohsiung National Stadium on the 6th, Lee addressed the controversy in his acceptance speech after winning the AAA Best Choice award. “This might not fit a celebratory mood, but lately it felt like getting pelted by hail out of a clear sky,” he said, adding, “The suspect has been emailing our company to apologize and ask for leniency. I will catch them, no matter what.”

Lee’s agency told SBS Entertainment News that its position “hasn’t changed since day one,” insisting the photos and chat logs were fabricated and saying the actor has cooperated fully with police. “We’re waiting for the investigation results,” the rep added.

Last month on the 3rd, Lee’s side said it filed a complaint with Seoul’s Gangnam Police for defamation and spreading false information. “There have been no settlement attempts or compensation talks, and there won’t be―under any circumstances,” the agency said at the time.
