Kang Daniel is closing out 2025 with a special album that marks another leap in his sound.
Out today (Dec. 12), the special release "PULSEPHASE" finds Kang taking complete creative control for the first time since his debut―writing, composing and producing every track. After years of lyric credits, he’s now steering the entire ship, unveiling a fully realized sonic world that’s unmistakably his.
From concept to sequencing, he obsessed over the details. The set refuses to sit in one lane, blending moombahton, EDM, dancehall and pop into bright, kinetic melodies layered with candid, emotional storytelling. Each track captures sparks of inspiration from different cities he experienced on his 2025 world tour.
In a notable twist, every song is in English. The five-track project is led by title cut "BACKSEAT PROMISES," arriving with a track video at release time. The visual follows Kang’s creative direction―teased earlier with clips that flashed sleek color palettes and shifting moods to build anticipation.
He’ll give the first live performance on Dec. 13 at his fan concert "RUNWAY : WALK TO DANIEL," a fitting stage to premiere something this personal. "PULSEPHASE" drops Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. KST on major streaming platforms.
