
Byun’s agency TEAMHOPE confirmed on Dec. 13 that the two are “seriously dating with marriage in mind.” While there’s no wedding date yet, the agency added that when plans are set, the pair want fans to be the first to know.
The stars also shared the news themselves, each posting a handwritten letter on their social media accounts to speak directly to fans.
In his note, Byun said he’s “continuing a relationship with a wonderful person with marriage in mind,” adding that being with her makes him want to be better ― and that her smile warms him even on the toughest days.
Tiffany wrote that she’s “in a sincere relationship with someone, with marriage in mind,” describing him as a steady presence who helps her see the world with optimism and hope. She added that there’s no specific timeline yet, but promised to tell fans directly when there are important decisions to share.
The two are believed to have grown close after co-starring in the Disney+ original series "Uncle Samsik" last year.
Byun, who debuted in 2011, has starred in the dramas "Misaeng" and "Mr. Sunshine," as well as the films "The Book of Fish" and "Voice."
Tiffany rose to fame in 2007 with Girls' Generation and has been building her acting resume with roles in "Reborn Rich" and Uncle "Samsik."
