Lee Yi-kyung Accuser Says She Is Being Threatened as Doctored KakaoTalk Chats & Private Photo Circulate

A German woman identified as A, who previously went public with allegations about actor Lee Yi-kyung’s private life, says she is being threatened as a social media account doxxes her and spreads fabricated KakaoTalk chats and her private photos without consent.

According to A, “Two days ago, a new Instagram account was created specifically to damage me. It’s posting app-generated, fake KakaoTalk screenshots and my personal photos that were shared without my permission.” She added that the account “seemed to realize how unnatural its first ‘chat’ looked, deleted the post, then reuploaded a blurred, edited version.”

“The key point,” she continued, “is that the fake KakaoTalk conversation uses a plane selfie of the actor wearing a cap ― a photo only he and I had. I never shared that picture with anyone. The source, to me, is obvious.”

A also claims the account included portions of her real KakaoTalk exchanges with the actor that she herself did not retain, and even exposed sensitive details about her family’s company ― information a random third party wouldn’t know. She alleges a clear intent to harm her privacy.

She says she is documenting everything ― the spread of doctored chats, the leak of private images, deliberate doxxing and threats ― and will pursue appropriate legal action.

Lee Yi-kyung has previously denied all of A’s claims through his agency. After A posted what she said were Instagram DMs with the actor, Lee’s camp reiterated its position: “Our stance hasn’t changed. Police told us the KakaoTalk messages allegedly exchanged between A and Lee were not authentic, and they also clarified that the so-called ‘underwear photo’ is obviously not Lee.”
