Bobby Kim Opens Up About Decade-Old In-Flight Incident on 'PSICK SHOW': "I Want to Apologize"

R&B veteran Bobby Kim brought down the house on "PSICK SHOW".

The singer popped up on Psick Univ’s YouTube talk show, released Dec. 14, unleashing candid, laugh-out-loud stories that had the studio cracking up.

Appearing on the show’s English-language format, Kim rolled out smooth, fluent banter from the jump and immediately won over the room.

The hosts “taught” the 50-something star the latest trends―then pranked him with a string of retired memes. Kim fell for it hook, line and sinker, to everyone’s delight.

He also revisited a decade-old in-flight incident, explaining that he’d used miles to book business class but was reassigned to economy after two airline errors. The hosts acknowledged the carrier’s mistakes and said the company owed him an apology. Even so, Kim added that he wants to apologize for causing a disturbance onboard, noting, “I hope nothing like that ever happens again.”

The MCs then shouted out one of his most recognizable tunes: a jingle for Daegu Cyber University. Kim joked that thanks to that spot, crowds in Daegu give him an extra-warm welcome―and he’s even picked up the nickname “Daegu Man.”

With his year-end concerts on deck, Kim teased a setlist spanning career-defining hits, tributes to veteran and younger artists, and pop covers. “Come out and have a great time,” he told fans.

Bobby Kim’s first solo concert in three years, 2025 Bobby Kim Concert “Soul Dreamer,” will take place Dec. 24-25 at the Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall in Seoul.
