Kang Daniel brought the curtain down on the first chapter of his solo career with a two-night fan concert in Seoul as he prepares for military enlistment.

On Dec. 13?14 at KBS Arena, he staged “RUNWAY: WALK TO DANIEL,” a hybrid fan meeting and concert built around the theme “the road we’ve walked and the road ahead.” Framed as a fresh beginning rather than a goodbye, the event sold out in presale and delivered plenty of fan-service moments alongside a dynamic live set.

Across 14 songs, the show traced six years of solo hits, from “TOUCHIN’,” “Electric Shock,” “Episode” and “Movie Star” to his latest release “BACKSEAT PROMISES.”

The concert also featured the live premiere of tracks from his special album PULSEPHASE. For the first time since debut, Kang took the reins as lyricist, composer and producer on the project, which dropped just ahead of the shows. Title track “BACKSEAT PROMISES” capped the encore to roaring cheers, leaving the crowd wanting more.

“Thank you for giving me another precious memory,” he told fans with a warm smile. “I’m standing here because of your constant love and support. Let’s keep cheering each other on―and meet again on an even bigger stage.”

PULSEPHASE will also be released in a collectible jewel-case version tailored for fans. Produced in limited, made-to-order quantities on a staggered schedule, preorders open Dec. 16 with an in-store release set for Dec. 29.
