Lee Seo-jin Shoots His Shot at Longtime Crush Choi Hwa-jung on 'Manager Seojin': "If We'd Met Younger, We Might've Really Dated"
BiseojinLee Seo-jin is turning up the romance on SBS’ Friday variety "Manager Seojin", aiming a straight-shooting confession at his “ideal type” of more than a decade, veteran host Choi Hwa-jung.

On the December 19 episode of "Manager Seojin", Choi―nicknamed “Candy” for her timeless charm―appears as the show’s 11th featured “My Star.”

The episode leans into a flirty, feel-good mood the series hasn’t shown before. Kim Kwang-kyu, who’s long called Choi “baby,” and Lee, who has openly named her his dream girl for years, can’t hide their butterflies as they dote on her like devoted personal managers.

Kim sets the tone with low-key flirting, while Lee―dropping his trademark cool―shows a rare jealous streak, snapping, “Hands off with those grubby hands.” Choi playfully flips the script, telling Kim, “Baby, relax today,” and excusing him from assistant duties―a VIP perk that sends the set buzzing.

Then Lee ups the ante with a surprise reveal: he used to stop by Choi’s home often, instantly shifting the vibe and tightening the love-triangle tension. The self-professed rookies at romance in their 50s fall harder by the minute, confessing, “I’m wavering right now,” and, “If we’d met when we were younger, we probably would’ve really dated.”

So who will win the title of Choi Hwa-jung’s favorite younger guy―Lee Seo-jin or Kim Kwang-kyu? Find out tonight when "Manager Seojin" airs at 11:10 p.m. KST on SBS.
