Hyoyeon Talks About Girls' Generation's Marriage: "I Want To Be the First One"
Invitation from Bachelor AgainHyoyeon put Girls' Generation and marriage on the table with a candid―and cheeky―confession.

On the Dec. 23 episode of SBS' "Invitation from Bachelor Again," Kim Jun-hyun, Brian, Hyoyeon and Son Tae-jin dropped by as guests.

Looking back on her trainee days, Hyoyeon shared that she once had to write a 300-character apology just to eat a hamburger, adding with a laugh, "Tell me not to do something and I’ll want to do it even more."

She continued, "When they say, ‘Absolutely no dating,’ that just makes you want to date," joking that if someone else got scolded for it, she’d take it as a sign it might be doable after all―owning up to her mischievous streak.

Hyoyeon also recalled sneaking out around 4 a.m. when everyone was asleep. "There wasn’t really anywhere to go at that hour, so we’d head to the Han River," she said. "Back then people joked that anyone in a bucket hat or cap at that time at Han River had to be a celebrity. If we spotted someone like that across the way, we’d both just turn around. It was risky―but thrilling."

Host Tak Jae-hoon then noted that none of the Girls' Generation members are married yet and guessed they might all be quietly watching one another. Hyoyeon agreed: "We really are reading the room. I’m very aware of it."

Asked who she thinks will tie the knot first, Hyoyeon cracked, "I want to. I honestly might just wake up one day and get married," drawing big laughs.
