Actor Han Ji-min is closing out the year with a heartfelt gift, donating 100 million won to help children battling illness cover their hospital bills.
Han recently contributed 100 million won to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, earmarking the funds for low-income pediatric patients. The donation will be used in full to support young patients who struggle to access treatment due to financial hardship.
The gesture was sparked by a personal experience. After visiting a hospital with her family, Han said the sight of young patients stayed with her, ultimately motivating this donation. She hopes it offers even a small measure of comfort to kids enduring difficult treatments.
Han has long used her platform to give back, supporting a range of causes in steady, meaningful ways. This latest gift to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital continues that track record―and spreads a little warmth to close out the year.
On the work front, Han plans to keep pairing her screen roles with messages of positivity. Her next project, JTBC’s drama “Efficient Meeting for Singles” (working title), is slated to premiere on February 28.
