The duo took home Excellence in Acting in the Romantic Comedy Miniseries category at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards, which aired live from 8:50 p.m. KST on Dec. 31 at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The co-stars, who played a couple in the rom-com “Kiss for No Reason,” both clinched Excellence trophies side by side.
Jang said, “This was my first time diving into a classic rom-com, and it came with a lot of worries and challenges. Our director was my anchor on set―without him, I couldn’t have carried Gong Ji-hyeok through to the end. I want to express my heartfelt thanks.”
He added, “I didn’t expect a big award like this, and it makes me want to become a better actor. I’ll keep my head down and keep growing.”
Ahn began her speech, “I’m grateful to have this final chance to say thank you. I thought a lot at home about what I wanted to share tonight.”
She continued, “Thanks to our writer, I got to live in a fairytale world. And to our captain, the director―you’re simply the best,” applauding the creative team.
Apologizing for not being able to name every crew member, Ahn added, “Because of all of you, we wrapped filming healthy and happy. Thank you, truly.”
