The new series builds on "Veiled Cup", which streamed on Netflix and chronicled how top vocalists were selected across Asia, including Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Laos. "Veiled Cup" levels things up: each country’s Top 3 contenders fly to Korea to battle it out for regional bragging rights ― and the title of Asia’s best voice.
To match the stakes, the judging panel is stacked. Tiffany Young, 10CM, Henry, and MIYEON of I-DLE join returning "Veiled Cup" Korea judges Ailee and Paul Kim. Actor Lee Da-hee ― known for hosting music competitions like "Queendom" and "Road to Kingdom" ― will serve as the solo MC.
“We watched each country’s Top 3 in their local finals and were genuinely blown away,” says producing director Lee Hong-hee. “Every nation sent singers with distinct vocal colors and silhouettes, which made us incredibly excited for 'Veiled Cup.'”
“The performances in Korea exceeded expectations,” Lee adds. “Some contestants tackled K-pop with flawless Korean diction, while others delivered powerful renditions from their home countries. Even with different languages, the emotions came through ― a reminder of music’s power. And with national pride on the line, there was plenty of subtle gamesmanship. It’s a true country-versus-country contest, and we can’t wait to see which nation takes the crown.”
