U-KISS main vocalist SOOHYUN is ready to paint the day in shades of gray.
SOOHYUN releases his second mini-album, ‘Gray.’, today (Jan. 7) at 6 p.m. KST across streaming platforms, marking his return roughly six months after the July single “TODAY IS.”
The title track “Gray.” threads eight-bit rock textures through a haze of in-between emotions, distilling the project’s core message. Lyrically, it chronicles the wobble before a rebound―candid, steady, and neither bright nor bleak―amplifying the song’s wistful pull with SOOHYUN’s nuanced delivery.
The set opens with a contemplative piano “Intro,” then moves to “Could You Be My Love,” a pledge that holds firm even as time blurs. “Watching a Movie Alone (feat. HWISEO of H1-KEY)” captures the hollow ache of shared rituals turning solo. “Us, Again” traces the longing to reconnect, cycling through ache, surrender, and hope. “Can You Hear Me” lays words SOOHYUN wrote while thinking of his father over a quiet piano. In total, seven tracks weave distinct moments into one cohesive, grayscale arc.
With ‘Gray.’, SOOHYUN deepens his signature sound and further cements his footing as a solo act. A featured verse from H1-KEY’s HWISEO adds an extra spark, promising a fresh synergy fans will want to hear.
SOOHYUN’s second mini-album ‘Gray.’ arrives today (Jan. 7) at 6 p.m. KST on major music platforms.
