Park Jung-min is set to unveil a side we haven’t seen before in "HUMINT".

Set in the icy port city of Vladivostok―where secrets and truths sink beneath frozen waters―"HUMINT" pits players with competing agendas on a collision course.

A perennial audience favorite, Park returns to the big screen over the 2026 Lunar New Year frame as Park Geon, a unit chief within North Korea’s Ministry of State Security.

“I’ve loved this genre since I was a kid, but honestly never thought I’d get the call,” Park says of the project. “When the offer came, it surprised me. After reading the script, I knew it could be grueling―but it also felt irresistibly fun.”

Tasked with a new mission in Vladivostok, Park Geon is known for his cool judgment and razor-sharp moves―until a chance encounter with Chae Sun-hwa begins to crack his armor.

New stills capture a keen, edgy gaze unlike anything in his past work. “I wanted an animalistic intensity only Park Jung-min could bring,” says director Ryoo Seung-wan. “Audiences will feel like they’re seeing him for the first time.” The promise of that unfamiliar face has fans buzzing.

"HUMINT" opens in theaters in Korea on February 11.
