KATSEYE, the global girl group from HYBE and Geffen Records, has notched another career high on the Billboard Hot 100.
On the latest chart dated Jan. 10, “Gabriela,” from the group’s second EP Beautiful Chaos, rockets to No. 22―soaring 41 spots week-over-week―and extends its Hot 100 run to 24 weeks.
Another cut from the same EP, “Gnarly,” re-enters the Hot 100 at No. 82, marking a new peak for the track and bringing its total to 12 weeks on the chart. After getting edged out by holiday staples, both songs are surging into the new year with fresh momentum.
Beautiful Chaos also climbs on the Billboard 200, rising 14 spots to No. 17. The set previously peaked at No. 4 (July 12) and has now spent 27 consecutive weeks on the chart―proof that the album’s deep cuts are resonating alongside “Gabriela” and “Gnarly.”
On the sales side, the EP holds strong: "Beautiful Chaos" ranks No. 4 on both Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales this week, logging 27 straight weeks on each tally. KATSEYE’s first 2024 EP, "SIS (Soft Is Strong)," lands at No. 42 on Top Current Album Sales.
The group kicked off the year with a new single, “Internet Girl,” released Jan. 2, signaling another wave to come. The track debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Top Song Debut charts in both the U.S. and globally for the Dec. 22-31 tracking window. It scored approximately 2.87 million first-day streams on Spotify―the group’s best opening-day streaming total to date.
Next up, KATSEYE is nominated in two categories at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards―Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance―and will take the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
Formed under Bang Si-hyuk’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy, KATSEYE debuted in the U.S. in June 2024 after coming through HYBE America’s structured training and development system.
