On the Jan. 8 episode of SBS’s “Match to Marry: With Parents,” Kim sought out Moon again after a separate date ― and wasted no time getting real.
The two agreed to drop formalities and speak casually. When Moon asked what ran through Kim’s mind after their introductions, Kim didn’t hold back: “It felt like you’ve made the most of the last ten years ― like you keep finding a way forward.” Moon was taken aback, and Kim added with a grin, “When I like someone, I pay attention.”
When Moon downplayed it as luck, Kim countered, “Luck is what you make.” He doubled down: “Destiny is something you create ― and I chose you as my breakthrough.”
Moon then asked if Kim’s date with Kim Hyun-joon had fallen flat. “No, it was good,” Kim admitted. “But my eyes keep going to you.”
Kim kept the momentum going: “Yesterday you never saw this coming, but I made it happen. I shape my fate ― and you grabbed the chance.”
He finished with a bold pitch: “If you date me, you win. If we’re talking gains and losses, you come out ahead.” With the flirtation in full swing, viewers are eager to see where this triangle heads next.
