Tiffany Young Smoothly Sidesteps Byun Yo-han Question at 'Veiled Cup' Press Conference
Tiffany YoungSinger and actress Tiffany Young had a graceful answer when a question about her boyfriend, actor Byun Yo-han, came up.

At the "Veiled Cup" press conference held Jan. 9 at SBS headquarters in Mok-dong, Seoul, a reporter asked whether “the person behind her recent good news” had shared any words of encouragement ― a nod to her recently confirmed serious relationship with Byun. Tiffany flashed a knowing smile and kept it broad: supporters around her have been cheering her on and saying they’re excited for "Veiled Cup" because it’s a strong concept and a great project. Then she made sure to add, “Please show 'Veiled Cup' lots of love.”

"Veiled Cup" is the global expansion of "Veiled Musician," billed as “the fairest audition in the world,” where contestants compete solely by voice from behind a screen. While the Netflix series "Veiled Musician" followed the process of selecting representative vocalists from nine Asian countries ― including Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia and Laos ― "Veiled Cup" ups the stakes by bringing each country’s Top 3 to Korea for a high-stakes vocal showdown for national pride.

The judging panel is stacked: Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young; singer-songwriter 10CM; all-around entertainer Henry; I-DLE’s MIYEON; and returning "Veiled Musician" Korea judges Ailee and Paul Kim. Actress Lee Da-hee, known for hosting music competitions like "Queendom" and "Road to Kingdom," serves as the solo MC.

"Veiled Cup" premieres Sunday, Jan. 11 at 4:30 p.m. KST.
