Arden Cho is on a late-night hot streak, popping up on NBC’s "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on back-to-back days as her global momentum surges.
On Jan. 12 (local time), Cho appeared on Fallon alongside co-star Ahn Hyo-seop, who played Jinu in the Netflix film "KPop Demon Hunters".
When Fallon asked for the most unforgettable moment since the release, Cho shared a touching story: she received a congratulatory message from Linda Larkin, the voice of Princess Jasmine in Disney’s "Aladdin."
Cho recalled tearing up when Larkin told her, “You’re the princess of this generation,” calling it a memory she’ll never forget.
After the taping, Cho said it felt “thrilling” to see Rumi and Jinu reunited again and thanked fans for their heartfelt support, adding that their love made the moment even sweeter.
The very next day, Cho headed to "The Kelly Clarkson Show", where she told Clarkson it had long been a dream to meet someone who’d been such a big part of her life. The two shared an emotional hug as the audience erupted in applause.
Cho also opened up about her journey as an actor. In her 20s, she felt pressured to be perfect and tried to be someone she wasn’t; in her 30s, she embraced her Korean heritage and who she truly is. She spoke about the many pressures women face―to be perfect, to be beautiful, to be strong―and said Rumi’s arc in "KPop Demon Hunters", losing everything and finding her way back, resonated deeply and ultimately made her stronger.
With these back-to-back talk show appearances, Cho isn’t just celebrating a career win―she’s claiming her identity and voice on a global stage. Her honesty and warmth are striking a chord with fans, only raising anticipation for what she’ll do next.
