NewJeans’ DANIELLE, who is currently locked in a legal dispute with former label ADOR, has shared a heartfelt “letter that never got sent” she wrote last year.
On January 16, DANIELLE posted a long note to fans (Bunnies) on her personal Instagram. Dated November 12, 2025, the letter comes with an explanation: she says she couldn’t share it at the time, but decided to release it now.
The letter was written when talk of a possible reconciliation among the members was still in the air. Back then, HAERIN and HYEIN had expressed interest in returning to ADOR, and―through legal representatives―MINJI, DANIELLE, and HANNI were also said to be open to coming back. HANNI was traveling at the time, and the internal discussions ultimately never reached a conclusion.
Amid that uncertainty, DANIELLE wrote, “MINJI, HANNI, HAERIN and HYEIN are my second family,” underscoring the members’ deep bond. “Our timing may have been off, but nothing can pull us apart,” she added, calling their connection “one of a kind.”
She also reassured fans: “I can’t share everything right now, but where my heart points hasn’t changed,” signaling steady resolve despite the turbulence. “Hard moments aren’t ‘impossible’―they just need a little more time,” she wrote, closing on a hopeful note.
DANIELLE is currently facing a lawsuit from ADOR over her exclusive contract. When the letter was written, there was still a chance the members might return together; since then, the situation has shifted into a full-on legal battle. That context has fans saying the note’s hopefulness hits even harder now.
DANIELLE ends by saying she can’t wait for the day she meets fans again to talk and laugh, and shares that she has opened a new Instagram account, promising to let them in on her thoughts and moments little by little.
