VERIVERY’s KANGMIN is stepping into leading-man territory with Kitz’s premium short-form drama "Jump Boy Live", set to premiere in February.

The series tracks a classic coming-of-age with a modern twist: an outsider at a science high school, desperate to become an influencer, suddenly gains the power to teleport―and reinvents himself as a “live” hero. Directed by Lee Jung-hoon, whose The Scalpel-Wielding Hunter bowed at the Cannes International Series Festival, the human-centric sci-fi follows a once-invisible teen as he finds his voice under the gaze of a global audience.

KANGMIN plays Yi-on, a student overlooked both at school and on social media. During a meteor shower, a shard he picks up mid-livestream triggers his teleportation ability. Overnight, Ion’s jump-on-camera stunts turn him into a mega influencer, forcing him to navigate unwanted attention, chaos, and the pressure to define who he really is.

Backed by Lee’s steady direction and immersive set pieces, the drama spotlights KANGMIN’s growth as he channels a rookie suddenly thrust into superpowered fame. "Jump Boy Live" wrapped filming on the 8th and is now deep in post-production.
