Koyote member Shinji, 44, is tying the knot with singer MoonOne this May―about six months after the couple’s wedding photo shoot in Seoul’s Gangnam district first signaled they were headed down the aisle.
In a handwritten note shared to social media on the 26th, Shinji thanked fans for supporting her unwaveringly for 27 years and announced, “I’m beginning the second act of my life. MoonOne and I will be getting married in May.”
The pair have already been building a life together, settling into a country-style home in Gimpo. “Living together, we’ve grown stronger and built real trust,” she wrote. “I’m grateful to have someone who’s fully in my corner. We lean on each other, and we’ve become even more solid.”
Shinji previously confirmed she and MoonOne were in a relationship and preparing for marriage. During that time, it became known that MoonOne has a daughter from a previous marriage and has worked in real estate as an assistant. Unverified rumors about his past and private life spread online, with some urging Shinji to proceed cautiously.
Addressing the chatter, Shinji added, “I’m well aware of everyone’s affectionate concern. I won’t forget it. We’ll keep moving forward, step by step, with consistency. And I’ll continue to work hard as singer Shinji.”
