IVE JANGWONYOUNG Files 'FOREVER CHERRY' Trademark, Label Says It Is Not a Solo Business
Jang WonyoungIVE’s JANGWONYOUNG’s team is clearing the air over speculation that she’s launching a personal business.

On the 28th, Starship Entertainment said, “FOREVER CHERRY is a brand-collaboration project, not JANGWONYOUNG’s private venture.”

According to KIPRIS, Korea’s intellectual property database, Jang filed trademark applications on the 11th for “FOREVER:CHERRY,” “포에버:체리,” and a cherry-shaped logo. The filings cover a wide range of goods―including cosmetic and fragrance items, essential oils, wipes, adhesive and cleaning products, home fragrance, accessories like combs and sponges, and decorative ceramics―prompting online chatter that she might be gearing up to launch a personal label under the “Forever Cherry” name.

Addressing the trademark move, the label explained, “The name draws deeply from the artist’s identity and image. To prevent potential commercial misuse or brand dilution by third parties after the collaboration ends, both sides agreed to file under JANGWONYOUNG’s name. The broad scope is a proactive safeguard to keep her image from being exploited across categories.”

The company added, “This is about protecting the artist’s rights and preserving her unique value.”
