tvN STORY and T Cast’s E Channel have set February 25 for the premiere of the reality series "My Kid’s Romance 2", which follows parents as they watch their adult children navigate love ― and the kids as they grow through the process. The first teaser drops the debut cast member: Yoon Hoo, the beloved “nation’s nephew” and son of singer Yoon Min-soo.
In the Jan. 28 teaser, a taller, fitter Yoon Hoo strides into frame with an easy confidence, while his voiceover admits he’s dated “once in high school and once in college.” It’s a glow-up that has longtime viewers doing a double take.
He also shares a candid flex: if he really liked someone, he’d “even pluck stars from the sky.” These days, though, he’s focused on a rigorous gym routine ― six days a week, for more than two hours a session ― a regimen that’s helped shape the more grounded version of himself. Asked to name his charm point, he laughs and offers, “My shoulders.” The once-adorable kid is now a twenty-something ready to talk about love, and curiosity around his journey is spiking.
Fans who saw the teaser flooded social media with surprise and nostalgia: “Can’t believe Hoo’s on a dating show now,” “He really grew up,” “Same face, just bigger frame,” and the instant classic, “What happened to those arms?” One commenter even reminisced, “The baby who used to eat ram-don got this big?! Wow!”
