Kim Gun-mo Gears Up for First Seoul Concert in 6 Years, Joo Young-hoon Cheers Him On
Kim Gun-moAfter six years away from major stages, veteran singer Kim Gun-mo, 58, is preparing for a return to Seoul this spring.

Composer Joo Young-hoon and his wife, actress Lee Yoon-mi, shared a new photo with Kim. On Jan. 29, Joo posted, “My brother Gun-mo ― I’ll be at the March 21 Seoul concert,” then playfully added, “Let’s get our under-eye bags done together,” drawing laughs from fans.

In the picture, Kim looks a touch tired ― understandable as he throws himself into rehearsals ahead of the March show in Seoul.

Kim made his live comeback in Busan last September, his first concert in six years. He showed visible nerves and grew emotional onstage, shedding tears during the set ― a raw moment from the artist in his 35th year since debut.

Kim had stepped back from the spotlight amid serious allegations but was later cleared. After a difficult hiatus, he’s choosing to reconnect with fans primarily through live performances rather than television appearances.
