Singer Jeong Dong-won, who is set to enlist on February 23, has shared preview clips of “Lies” and “Letter of a Private,” two tracks from his upcoming remake mini-album.

On January 26 and 31, Jeong dropped “highlight listens” for both songs on his official YouTube channel, teasing the February 5 release of his remake project, "Collection of Props Vol.2".

Leaning into the throwback concept, each video opens with the soft crackle and needle drop of an LP player, setting an unmistakably analog mood.

Jeong’s warm, resonant vocal then glides in, giving a taste of the arrangements and guiding the tone of each track without giving too much away.

Both songs capture different shades of emotion, showcasing Jeong’s range as an interpreter. He preserves the heart of the originals while adding his own color―enough to spike anticipation from fans.

“Letter From a Private,” in particular, hits harder given Jeong’s imminent service; his understated delivery lends the classic a quiet, stirring poignancy.

Out February 5, "Collection of Props Vol.2" is the second installment in Jeong’s remake series reimagining era-defining Korean hits through his lens. Building on the first volume, this chapter leans into deeper sentiment―and serves as a parting gift to fans as he heads to the Marine Corps for duty.

Jeong will release the mini-album on February 5 and hold a special fan concert at KINTEX in Ilsan on February 13, just days before enlistment.
