During a virtual press conference on Feb. 2, KAI was asked which EXO member he’d invite. “CHANYEOL’s really funny these days,” he said with a laugh. “He didn’t used to be the funny one, but now he cracks me up. He’s in a good headspace, he’s been acting, and I think he’d crush it on the show.”
"Real Talk" is a character-driven talk format with Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, comedian Lee Su-ji and EXO’s KAI as MCs. Each episode drops the cast and guests into a fresh “universe,” where they role-play and riff their way through unpredictable conversations. In the premiere, the four hosts transform into inmates for a tongue-in-cheek “prison” setup, then switch gears for a 2-on-2 “double-date” concept to spark the kind of talk-show moments viewers haven’t seen before. Their in-the-moment acting and improv aim to disarm guests and land surprising laughs.

Asked how his EXO members have been cheering him on, KAI joked, “Honestly, they’ve said almost nothing. We’re all so busy that I got a quick ‘good luck,’ and that was about it. I’m not even sure they know I’m doing this,” earning laughs with his deadpan.
“This is my first fixed variety gig at SBS, so it’s really special to me,” he added. “If you’re looking for a good time, please tune in.”
"Real Talk" premieres tonight (Feb. 2) at 10:10 p.m. KST on SBS.
