KATSEYE Stuns at the Grammys with Daring Performance, Earns Standing Ovation
KATSEYEGirl group KATSEYE set the Crypto.com Arena ablaze at the 68th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 1 (local time), delivering a high-octane performance that had A-list stars on their feet for a standing ovation.

Invited as Best New Artist nominees, the group took the stage with a kinetic live-band rendition of their track "Gnarly"―an eye-catching moment for a group not yet two years into their debut, and a rare nod for an act born from K-pop methodology. As one of the coveted General Field categories, Best New Artist put extra spotlight on KATSEYE’s primetime showcase.

They met the moment. As "Gnarly"s experimental sonics rippled through the arena, the energy spiked. The members powered through crisp live vocals and a tightly drilled routine that mixed sleek hip work with bold twerking, keeping the crowd roaring from start to finish.

Earlier on the red carpet, the members―stunning in white lace―shared a message for fans and dreamers watching: “We hope this nomination inspires people like us, who share our dreams. Anything is possible. Believe in yourself, and don’t let anyone define you.”

KATSEYE has been on a tear over the past year. Their second EP, "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS", peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 (week of July 12, 2025). Standout track "Gabriela" hit a new career high at No. 21 on the Hot 100 (week of Jan. 17, 2026). In January, "Internet Girl" climbed to No. 24 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart (week of Jan. 9-15, 2026), marking their best showing there yet.

They also stamped their status as next-gen pop heavyweights with buzzy sets at Lollapalooza Chicago 2025 and Summer Sonic 2025. Their "Better in Denim" campaign with GAP dominated social feeds, pushing their influence deeper into fashion. The group nabbed "PUSH Performance of the Year" at the MTV VMAs, and their debut North American trek, the "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" Tour, sold out across the board.

At this year’s Grammys, KATSEYE was nominated for both Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, though they ultimately went home empty-handed. Best Pop Duo/Group Performance went to Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande for "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked," while Best New Artist―widely tipped in advance―was awarded to U.K. singer Olivia Dean.
