Comedian Ahn Young-mi, 42, has announced she’s five months pregnant with her second child.
On MBC FM4U’s "Two O’Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi," the host told listeners, “I finally get to say this myself. There’s a reason our show has been jokingly called a ‘good luck for pregnancy’ broadcast―I’m expecting my second.” The studio and fans flooded her with congratulations.
Ahn, who welcomed her first son in July 2023, shared that baby No. 2 is also a boy and is due this July.
“I kept quiet until I felt stable,” she said, noting she was being extra cautious. “I went back and forth about having a second―parenting one is hard enough―but I really wanted my first to have a sibling.”
Recently, Ahn went viral on social media for gleefully snacking on those “Dubai chewy cookies”. After her announcement, fans joked that her irresistible cookie cravings suddenly made perfect sense―and wished her a healthy pregnancy.
Ahn married in February 2020 after four and a half years of dating a partner she met when a listener letter connected them during a radio appearance. Her husband is reportedly an office worker at a company based in Los Angeles.
