Actors Lee Beom-soo (56) and Lee Yoon-jin (43) are officially divorced after a two-year legal battle.
The news was confirmed on the 6th via an official statement from Lee Beom-soo’s agency, Y-Won Entertainment. The agency said, “Lee Beom-soo and Lee Yoon-jin resolved their misunderstandings after sufficient discussion. They agreed to respect and support each other, from their respective places, as the parents of their children going forward.”
The agency added, “During the divorce proceedings, some speculative and distorted reports spread. We want to correct that. Reports speculating about Lee Beom-soo are not true, and the parties reached an amicable agreement. We respectfully ask that further speculation, criticism, and the spread of false information about Lee Beom-soo, Lee Yoon-jin, and their family stop.”
They continued, “Above all, for the children’s stability and privacy, we ask that there be no further mentions or speculative reports about the couple’s marriage and divorce process.”
Lee Beom-soo and interpreter Lee Yoon-jin met through an English lecture, began dating, and married in 2010. During 14 years of marriage, they had one son and one daughter, but they separated in March 2024. During the process, Lee Yoon-jin sought custody and stated that the reason for divorce was not infidelity but differences in personality, with conflict with her mother-in-law being a major factor.
