G-DRAGON staged his first solo fan meeting since debut, uniting roughly 40,000 fans over three days and cementing the multi-generational “FAM” as one true family.
From February 6 to 8, he met fans at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, with 2026 G-DRAGON ‘FAM’ MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU]. More than a simple meetup, it became a moment that bridged time and generations for his fandom.
What made it special was the wide spectrum of fans in the room. Newly arrived teens―he’s even been dubbed Korea’s “president of teens,” a buzzy nickname for stars wildly popular with younger audiences―stood side by side with fans who grew up during BIGBANG’s prime and are now in midlife. Different generations cheered the same songs and laughed and cried at the same moments, coming together as one family under the name G-DRAGON.

For his first-ever solo fan meeting, G-DRAGON went beyond a standard show and aimed for an intimate family gathering. A 360-degree open stage, pathways designed for eye contact, and a setlist that moved between memories and the present all spotlighted his sincerity toward each individual fan.
Across the three days, the emotions deepened. It wasn’t a one-off event―it felt like an answer to the time they’ve shared and a promise for the future they’ll build together. The roaring energy, strong enough to make everyone forget the winter cold, proved G-DRAGON remains an icon in real time.
YouTuber Mimiminu, who’s long said G-DRAGON is his reason for being, served as MC―living out a true “successful fan” moment. His easy back-and-forth and heartfelt empathy with G-DRAGON kept the room light and warm. During reflections and messages from FAMs, he got choked up alongside the crowd, leaving a lasting impression.
From opening to encore, the stage zeroed in on fans’ memories. Riding in on a massive crown, G-DRAGON kicked things off with "A Boy," instantly heating up the dome. For "WHO YOU?," he recreated his 2013 Inkigayo look―white shirt, blue jeans, and a red ball cap―sending fans into a frenzy. The finale with "TAKE ME" and "IBELONGIIU" from his recent album "Übermensch" wrapped the flow naturally and left a deep afterglow.
At the heart of the night was conversation between G-DRAGON and his FAM. They laughed over old photos. He answered pre-submitted questions on the spot, showing an unfiltered, human side. His quick wit bounced between empathy and humor, winning over the room. He also ran mini games to give away a slew of gifts he’d prepared himself―true reverse fan-service that amped up the heat. During challenge time, he nailed fan-favorite challenges. For "OVERDRIVE."―he unleashed peak charm, sending the venue into chaos. He snapped accessories on and off and played with props, clearly having a blast, which only made the cheers louder. Chants of “Kwon Ji-yong!” rang out as the event flowed less like a performance and more like shared play.

Immersive details brought G-DRAGON’s universe to life. Before entry, the venue exterior transformed into a Daisy Garden concept to welcome fans, and walnut cookies stamped with daisies were handed out―turning things into a festival even before showtime. Mid-show, video cues made it feel like everyone was riding an “88th-floor elevator” inside his world. A cheeky etiquette video featured security staff sharing safety rules. And at the end, confetti printed with G-DRAGON’s handwriting fell through the air with his signature scent, wrapping the space in his touch. These touches turned the fan meeting from a “show you watch” into a “world you experience.”
G-DRAGON said, “After my comeback, I welcomed new family members and wanted to hold a fan meeting. I felt sorry for those who couldn’t join the tour, so I wanted to create something like a family gathering. It was a time straight off my wishlist, and sharing it together made it even better. I love you.” He added, “Our first official family gathering ran for three days, and it was a time of becoming one again. Spring is coming soon, so please rest a bit along the flower path and wait for me.” Finally, he shared, “BIGBANG will make a 20th-anniversary comeback this year. As a member and as a fan, I’m excited, and I think all the members feel the same,” expressing his anticipation.
After the event, SNS and community boards lit up with reactions like “An all-time fan meeting where you can feel the heart in every detail,” “Stage, talk, production, and gifts―every inning was a hit,” “He showed everything fans wanted to see,” and “This is how amazing Ji-yong is,” praising his famously warm, considerate side.
G-DRAGON will continue his solo fan meeting 2026 G-DRAGON ‘FAM’ MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU] at PIA ARENA MM in Yokohama, Japan, from February 13 to 15, and at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 21 and 22, to meet local fans.
