"I Hoped This Day Wouldn't Come": FC Gucheokjangsin's Lee Hye-jung Faces Former Team FC Actionista
Kick a GoalFC Gucheokjangsin’s Lee Hye-jung opens up about her mixed feelings ahead of a first-ever showdown with her former club, FC Actionista, on SBS’s "Kick a Goal".

Airing on the 11th, "Kick a Goal" unveils the third match of Group B in the 2nd G League. It’s a no-compromise clash between FC Gucheokjangsin―riding high after their first win of the season―and FC Actionista, hungry to bounce back from an opening loss.

This rivalry returns after roughly 2 years and 7 months. It’s one of the show’s signature matchups, nicknamed “Akgurasico,” and it never fails to draw heat from viewers. The head-to-head record sits at five meetings with three wins and two losses, giving Actionista a slight edge. But with both sides revamped, this one’s too close to call. Who takes the glory this time?

The biggest storyline is the “Lee Hye-jung Derby.” Once an all-rounder for FC Actionista―nicknamed “Hyeraouchi”―Lee now meets her former team for the first time since moving to FC Gucheokjangsin.

Before kickoff, Lee admitted, “I feel really torn about this match. I think I kept hoping today wouldn’t come.” Fans are eager to see how the leader of Actionista’s past “Orange Renaissance” performs as the new ace of Gucheokjangsin’s “model squad.”

Gucheokjangsin head coach Kim Young-kwang has prepped a game plan tailored to powerhouse Actionista. He rolls out a high press that leans on the team’s “model physicality,” aiming to disrupt the opponent’s build-up and strike on quick counters―dubbed the “White Crack” tactic. Adding to that, rookies Jeong Da-eun x Jeong E-young, fresh off a winning debut, look set to help stifle Actionista’s attack. Can Gucheokjangsin turn this into a winning streak?

There’s more good energy on the sidelines. Two fan favorites―former Gucheokjangsin members Kim Jin-kyung and Jin Jung-sun, key players in the 1st G League title run―stop by the stadium. Visiting while celebrating pregnancy and marriage, the pair are greeted with a surprise pre-game event and special gifts from the team. Will the champs’ well-wishes power Gucheokjangsin to victory?

FC Gucheokjangsin’s all-out push to topple their “destined rivals” FC Actionista airs tonight at 9 p.m. on "Kick a Goal".
