Airing March 3, the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible" features 2MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok joining former MMA fighters-turned-entertainers Choo Sung-hoon and Kim Dong-hyun as they bring laugh-out-loud chaos to the Eunpyeong-gu area.
This time, Choo admits he has “glass stamina,” drawing attention. He’s long been seen as a top-tier physical powerhouse and a fitness idol. But from the jump, he’s shivering from the cold. When Kim enthusiastically declares, “Let’s practice for an hour,” Choo grumbles, “If we practice too much, we’ll burn out.” Right after eating, he even complains of a blood sugar spike, explaining, “I’m on a 40-hour fasting detox lately,” and asks for a quick nap―sparking protests. When Kim teases, “Hyung’s actually got fashion muscles,” Yoo Jae-suk piles on: “Sung-hoon’s a total weakling!” Cue the laughter.
What really shrinks “unexpected weakling” Choo is the show’s signature "Whenever Possible" games. He steps out in crisp white pants with undeniable presence, but turns into a total scaredy-cat when it’s time to compete. He insists on playing from just one spot, and the moment the order changes, he loses his rhythm―prompting exasperation from the younger members. Finally, Kim lands the clincher: “Sung-hoon hyung’s got a really small heart,” which sets Choo off, according to the crew.
Can Choo shake off the “unexpected weakling” label and redeem himself? "Whenever Possible" airs Tuesday, the 3rd, at 9 p.m.
