DANIELLE, formerly of NewJeans, will see her fan communication record come to an end on the group’s official platform.
On March 3, ADOR announced via the Weverse fan community that it will reorganize parts of Phoning, the official communication platform for NewJeans and their fandom, Bunnies.
According to the notice, starting April 3 at 11 a.m., operations for DANIELLE’s conversation history in Phoning’s Messages tab will end. Phoning stated, “We cherish the memories built by the artist and fans, but to provide a better service we are reorganizing some content,” and shared the viewing period details.
The move comes amid DANIELLE’s ongoing exclusive contract dispute with ADOR. On November 29, 2024, DANIELLE held an emergency press conference with NewJeans members, claiming that “trust in ADOR has completely collapsed” and that she could no longer continue activities under ADOR.
ADOR filed a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, and the court of first instance ruled in ADOR’s favor, finding no grave reason that would require termination of the contract.
Afterward, HANNI, HAERIN, and HYEIN expressed their intention to return following discussions with ADOR. Meanwhile, on December 29 of last year, ADOR notified the termination of DANIELLE’s exclusive contract and filed a 43.1 billion won penalty and damages suit against DANIELLE and her family.
ADOR stated that violations occurred, including entering contracts that conflicted with the exclusive agreement, independent activities, and damaging honor and credit, and that termination was notified because corrective demands were not met. On January 16, DANIELLE shared on social media, “Where my heart is hasn’t changed,” emphasizing her bond with the members.
