Lee Hyo-ri Cannot Resist Him: Magnetic Young Adult Steals the Show on 'Mongle Mongle Mongle'
MonggeulA magnetic young adult who has even the legendary Lee Hyo-ri wrapped around his finger is set to debut on "Mongle Mongle Mongle".

Premiering Sunday at 11:05 p.m., SBS Special "Mongle Mongle Mongle" follows young adults with developmental disabilities as they experience their first romances. It’s the next project from PD Go Hye-rin, who won a Baeksang Arts Awards work prize.. Real-life couple of 14 years Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon will lead as the “center directors,” helping the show’s “Mongle” participants build love stories―with feel-good synergy to match. In a major show of support, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" music director No Young-sim gifted an original song; Lee Hyo-ri performs it, and Lee Sang-soon produced the theme. Fans are watching to see what kind of impact this heartwarming project will make.

In the premiere, Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon hold first consultations with three “Mongle” participants who came to the special dating center in search of love. From her very first meeting with Yu Ji-hoon, a young adult on the autism spectrum known for his radical honesty, Lee Hyo-ri is instantly charmed―their quick-fire chemistry is an immediate mood-lifter.

To help Yu Ji-hoon stay calm for his first-ever blind date, Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon run a mock date. Playing the “date,” Lee Hyo-ri greets him with a shy smile and dives into the role―then suddenly throws the room into chaos with one unexpected line: “So… what do you think of me?” Yu Ji-hoon’s eyes go wide. Lee Sang-soon taps the brakes on her turbo flirting, saying, “Maybe not that right away,” then teases, “You haven’t done many blind dates, have you?” Lee Hyo-ri admits, “You’re right. I haven’t,” cracking everyone up.

Yu Ji-hoon fires back with his own next-level directness. When Lee Sang-soon suggests he ask questions he’s curious about, Ji-hoon floors it: “Oh, then… can I save your phone number?” Lee Hyo-ri, fully taken by his straightforward charm, beams: “Of course. I can give you my number,” sending the room into laughter.

Later, when asked about his ideal type, Yu Ji-hoon says he once hoped to meet someone who looks like actor Kim Yoo-jung or IVE’s ANYUJIN. Lee Hyo-ri gently advises, “It’s hard to meet people like that in real life.” Lee Sang-soon flips into sweet husband mode and adds, “I met someone like that once―Lee Hyo-ri.” But faced with Lee Sang-soon’s unstoppable wife praise, Yu Ji-hoon suddenly loses interest, cracking everyone up again.

All eyes are on Yu Ji-hoon’s candid moves―the “Mongle” participant who has Lee Hyo-ri in the palm of his hand―and the lighthearted chemistry between the “center directors” Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon and their “Mongle” youth. Anticipation is high for a premiere packed with good vibes and big laughs.

"Mongle Mongle Mongle", set to break stereotypes this spring while delivering swoons and healing, premieres Sunday at 11:05 p.m.
