Actors Song Kang-ho and Youn Yuh-jung are joining the Netflix series "BEEF" Season 2, and its first teaser is here.
"BEEF", the series that swept major awards including the Emmy Awards®, Golden Globes®, and Critics Choice Awards, is back with Season 2.
Season 2 of "BEEF" follows a high-stakes mind game of coercion and pressure among two couples and the Korean billionaire who owns an exclusive country club, after a young pair witnesses a shocking fight between a boss and his wife.
The teaser, released on the 6th, opens with the country club’s general manager Josh (Oscar Isaac) asking, “Do you know why our members pay a fortune to come here?” The line sets the tone for a tense story about unspoken class conflict.

We then meet a millennial couple―Josh and Lindsay (Carey Mulligan)―looking worn out as if they’ve survived a major crisis. In contrast, Gen Z couple and country club staffers Austin (Charles Melton) and Ashley (Cailee Spaeny) share a quiet, tender moment as they exchange engagement rings. The teaser makes you wonder how these two very different pairs get tangled up―and why.
Adding to the intrigue are the billionaire club owner Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung) and her second husband Dr. Kim (Song Kang-ho), who lock eyes with unreadable expressions, hinting at unpredictable twists among a colorful cast.
New stills spotlight the players in this dangerous game. As general manager, Josh takes a serious phone call, while Lindsay enjoys downtime with her dog―picture-perfect millennial affluence. Meanwhile, Austin scrolls on his phone at home in broad daylight, and Ashley hides behind a club wall to observe―mirroring a Gen Z couple still finding stable footing.

Chairwoman Park’s commanding entrance at the country club contrasts sharply with her husband Dr. Kim, who stares tensely at his phone in an operating room. The stills raise the question: how will she handle a potential scandal involving her spouse?
Josh and Lindsay’s stunned faces after their heated marital spat is exposed, plus a hushed floor-sit conversation between Austin and Ashley in a darkened home, tease the chaos brewing between the couples. A four-way confrontation in Josh and Lindsay’s elegantly designed living room further underlines their clash of generations and class.

Also in the mix: tennis coach Woosh (BM) chatting with Lindsay, the wide-eyed Eunice (Jang Seoyeon), and elite club members Troy (William Patzner) and Ava (Mikaela Hoover). With fresh synergy from the expanded cast and creator Lee Sung Jin’s sharp vision, "BEEF" Season 2 promises to hit even harder.
After Season 1 won eight awards at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards across Limited Series/TV Movie categories including Program, Directing, Writing, and Lead Actor/Actress, the second season of "BEEF" premieres April 16 on Netflix.
