BTS’ RM and SUGA are linking up with hip-hop seniors Epik High. Even the teaser alone is packed with playful senior-junior chemistry, sending hype for the full episode through the roof.
On March 23, Epik High dropped a teaser on their official YouTube channel, "EPIKASE", announcing RM and SUGA as guests ahead of the full episode premiere on March 26. Interest is especially high as this is reportedly SUGA’s only YouTube appearance during this album promotion.
The teaser opens with Mithra Jin saying, “The younger guys just got back from an overseas trip―big bros should cook them a solid meal,” as he heads to the kitchen. The moment RM and SUGA walk in, they greet Epik High warmly and the energy spikes instantly.
Mithra Jin jokes, “Can I get an autograph and a photo on your way out?” When RM quips, “Not sure how much 'EPIKASE' is going to edit me,” Tablo fires back, “Editing you is going to be tough today. You’re wild,” cracking everyone up. Epik High then teases, “RM’s shook!” and RM shoots back, “Now I’m heated,” hinting at chaotic, can’t-miss banter even in the short clip.
RM also shows love for Epik High’s creator chops: “You guys really adapted to the YouTube era? That’s dope.” Despite the brief runtime, the natural, no-distance back-and-forth between the two acts raises expectations for the main episode.
The appearance lands as BTS signals a full-group comeback, adding extra meaning. RM has previously said he started doing hip-hop after hearing Epik High’s “Fly,” making this meetup a symbolic bridge between musical roots and generations.
Epik High’s "EPIKASE" continues to earn steady love as a talk series that weaves through music, everyday life, and relationships. The full episode featuring RM and SUGA drops March 26 at 7:30 p.m.
