Bae Doona
Actor Bae Doona has joined So Ji-sub in supporting the film “The Voice of Hind Rajab.”

As global filmmakers, critics, and audiences rally behind “The Voice of Hind Rajab,” Korean voices of solidarity are growing, too. Following So Ji-sub, Bae Doona adds her voice to the project with a newly released “Bae Doona Voice Trailer.”

Picking up the baton from So Ji-sub, the “Bae Doona Voice Trailer” sharply reminds viewers why this film needs to be called out again right now. Different voices connect in a relay, amplifying the message “The Voice of Hind Rajab” aims to deliver.

A newly unveiled second poster compresses the urgency and tension of the rescue into a single visual, mapping the actual route volunteers checked as they tried to save Hind. The tagline ― “Just 8 Minutes to Rescue, 5 Hours Everyone Desperately Waited” ― starkly highlights the tragedy between a short distance and a long, drawn-out time.
Hind
“The Voice of Hind Rajab” centers on January 29, 2024, in the Gaza Strip ― a story witnessed through the real voice of a 6-year-old girl trapped alone in a bombed car. The film is built around the actual phone audio Hind left while requesting rescue from the Red Crescent, reconstructing those hours cinematically.

Director Kaouther Ben Hania shared her intent: more than a film to remember a young girl, she hopes it calls people to action ― a film that could change something. Staring straight at contemporary horrors through a real, tragic voice, the work asks what cinema can do now, and pushes us to reconsider the world we are living in today.

“The Voice of Hind Rajab” opens April 15.
