CORTIS took home Best New Artist in K-Pop at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026, held on the 26th (local time) in Los Angeles―the group’s first U.S. awards-show win since debut and their sixth rookie trophy overall.
The members shared a video message: “We’re so proud and grateful to receive this award. We’ll never forget it.” They also thanked their fandom COER, adding, “Thank you for supporting us from the very beginning. Like our team name, ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,’ we want to keep breaking the mold together. We can’t wait to share the new music we’ve got coming soon.”
Launched in 2014, the iHeartRadio Music Awards honor the artists and songs most played across radio and the iHeartRadio app over the past year.
CORTIS has been making waves in North America since debut. They appeared on iHeartRadio Live last October, and in February became the first K-pop act to headline the NBA Crossover Concert Series. Their debut album, "COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES," surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify about six months after release. In Korea, CORTIS also swept rookie honors at major shows including MAMA AWARDS, Asia Artist Awards, Golden Disc Awards, The Awards, and Hanteo Music Awards.
Riding that momentum, CORTIS kicks off their comeback on April 20 with a new single, followed by their second mini-album "GREENGREEN" on May 4.
