SHINee’s KEY will resume activities with the group’s first full-team solo concert in about five months.

According to SM Entertainment on the 27th, SHINee will hold its eighth solo concert, “- The Trilogy I - 2026 SHINee WORLD VIII : [THE INVERT],” at Seoul’s KSPO DOME from May 29 to 31.

This marks the quartet’s first standalone concert in roughly a year, aiming to present SHINee’s musical world with fresh production and a new perspective.

All eyes are on KEY, who is set to return to the stage about five months after pausing activities. He halted promotions last December following controversy tied to a person known as “Injection Aunt.”

At the time, KEY acknowledged that he received treatment at a hospital and at home from this individual, whom he believed was a doctor. The controversy escalated when it was later revealed the person did not have a medical license.

Through his agency, KEY said, “I thought the person was a doctor and didn’t realize receiving treatment at home would be an issue. I recently learned through the medical license controversy that they are not a doctor, and I deeply reflect on my ignorance,” and announced a hiatus.
