On the March 29 episode of SBS’s "Running Man," Sung Si-kyung and Lee Chang-sub appeared as guests and went head-to-head with the cast in a race.
During the episode, Yoo Jae-suk looked at Ji Ye-eun and said, “Si-kyung says Ye-eun likes MeloMance’s Minseok.”
Ji Ye-eun clarified it was just a phase. Sung Si-kyung added, “So I once put them on a call. At a get-together, with tears in her eyes, she asked if I could connect her because she liked him so much. So I called him. She really liked him,” before joking, “You probably would’ve been happier today if you came with Minseok instead of Chang-sub.”
Ji Ye-eun waved it off, saying she really likes Lee Chang-sub too. But she accidentally called him “Chang-seon,” prompting the members to tease, “Who’s Chang-seon?”
The members then asked if she likes Sung Si-kyung. Ji Ye-eun said, “I really did. Si-kyung is totally the ideal type for women. Everyone, across all ages, likes him. I really like him.”
Hearing that, the members asked, “Then if Si-kyung asked you out, would you date him?” Ji Ye-eun joked, “Oh, I would.”
Sung Si-kyung replied, “Then let’s date for a bit.” The sudden turn left Ji Ye-eun speechless and blushing, making everyone laugh.
Watching this, Yoo Jae-suk commented, “Back when Si-kyung was on a dating show, he wouldn’t do this even if they asked. Even when the writers wanted sweet lines, he’d say, ‘That’s not my thing.’”
Sung Si-kyung answered, “I won’t if I’m told to. I will when it comes from the heart,” making Ji Ye-eun’s heart flutter.
