'Whenever Possible' Yoo Yeon-seok Says He Was Nervous―But Taught a Full Two Hours in His First Lecture
Whenever PossibleProfessor Yoo Yeon-seok shared how his first lecture went.

On the March 31 episode of SBS’s "Whenever Possible," the cast headed to Ssangmun.

During the episode, Yoo Jae-suk asked Yoo Yeon-seok, “Professor Ahn, did you watch the baseball game?” The night before filming, Korea faced Australia in the WBC and clinched a dramatic quarterfinals spot.

But Yoo Yeon-seok said he didn’t catch it. “I had no time to watch baseball,” he admitted. Yoo Jae-suk joked back, “Well, that kills the conversation.”

Yoo Yeon-seok explained, “I had the opening ceremony yesterday and was busy with a bunch of things at school.” Yoo Jae-suk agreed, saying, “That’s fair―semester kickoff is different,” and asked if he had given his first lecture.

“I did,” Yoo Yeon-seok replied. “I was nervous. People say the first class should end early, so I planned to wrap in an hour. But I ended up going the full two hours.” His passion from day one drew attention.
