A safety fence near the audience collapsed during a Super Junior concert, causing several fans to fall.

SM Entertainment said in an official statement early on the 6th that an accident occurred during the SUPER JUNIOR 20th Anniversary TOUR 'SUPER SHOW 10' SJ - CORE in SEOUL on the 5th.

The incident happened during the final song of the encore. At the end of an extended stage, member RyeoWook reached out to greet fans. Some fans stretched their arms beyond the fence, and a temporary safety barrier set up beside the seating area gave way, causing several fans to fall.

Three audience members fell and were injured. They were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Doctors reportedly advised about two weeks of rest for sprains and contusions.

RyeoWook, who witnessed the fall at close range, appeared visibly shocked, holding his head in distress. He did not return for the ending stage, according to on-site accounts. Footage from the scene captured the dangerous moment, alarming viewers.

SM Entertainment stated, “We deeply apologize to those affected and their families. We will support the injured with treatment and do our best until they make a full recovery.” The company added, “As the concert organizer, we take this incident very seriously and will thoroughly inspect venue facilities and strengthen crowd safety management to prevent a recurrence.”

Questions have been raised about overall safety controls, as the barrier used at the time was a temporary structure and there were concerns about insufficient on-site staff to properly manage the area.
