On the April 7 broadcast of SBS’s "Whenever Possible," the duo joins MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok as “Teum Friends,” turning Seoul’s Gajwa-dong into their comedy playground.
From the opening, the brothers unleash rapid-fire banter. After Yang Se-hyung accidentally eats the sandwich wrapper, he jokes, “Back in the day, if you were hungry, you ate paper.” Yang Se-chan shoots back, “Hyung’s quit paper now. He can afford real food.” Se-hyung counters without missing a beat, “You’re not eating sand anymore either, right?” sending everyone into hysterics.
As their bits get bolder, Yoo Jae-suk can’t help but react: “They’re too much. Lots of people get riled up because of these two.”
But the tight-knit brothers quickly flip into playful rivals. Yang Se-chan teases, “Se-hyung’s dressing more like an ajusshi these days. When he showed up in full golfwear, I was embarrassed to walk with him,” which riles up his hyung. Se-hyung fires back, “I was embarrassed before you got your teeth fixed. You looked like a piranha.” Then he pivots smoothly: “For the record, I like piranhas,” cracking up Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok. Youngest of two sons Yoo Yeon-seok adds, “I mouthed off to my brother once in high school and got it bad,” relating to the sibling dynamic and adding to the laughs.
The brothers also show off their all-around talent. Beyond sharp talk, they roll out a string of impressions and personal gags, flexing confidence for the Teum missions. Yoo Jae-suk gives them a thumbs-up: “These brothers can do it all.”
The Yang Se-hyung x Yang Se-chan episode of "Whenever Possible" airs Tuesday, April 6, at 9 p.m.
