Park Bo-gum's Barber Era Is Not Over: 'The Village Barber' Season 2 Confirmed
Bogum MagicalYou’ll get to see Park Bo-gum in barber mode again. Variety series ‘The Village Barber’ is officially coming back for Season 2.

The tvN show, which wrapped on April 3, followed Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi, and Kwak Dong-yeon as they ran a special hair shop in a small countryside town in Muju.

Park Bo-gum, who holds a national barber’s license, handled hair. Lee Sang-yi earned a nail certification specifically for ‘The Village Barber.’ Kwak Dong-yeon took charge of cooking with his reliable household skills. From rookie barber Park chatting deeply with customers, to Lee acting like the town’s beloved son with his easygoing charm, to Kwak warmly taking seniors by the hand―their feel-good chemistry was a constant delight.

Fueled by strong viewer response, ‘The Village Barber’ ranked No. 1 across all channels in its time slot for seven consecutive weeks among 20-49 audiences, placed in the Pundex TV Non-Scripted and Non-Scripted Cast Top 10 for nine straight weeks, and surpassed 260 million video views as of April 2. The show is also reaching fans in about 200 countries and regions across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Americas, Europe, and Oceania, and holds a 9.5 rating on IMDb―spreading wholesome dopamine worldwide.

According to tvN, the new season will return in the second half of this year.
