600K-Subscriber Streamer Apologizes After On-Air Violence Toward Woman, but Backlash Continues
Who Is ‘A’? Initials With a Question MarkAn internet streamer identified as A, who sparked outrage for grabbing a female guest by the hair, appearing to pour soju into her mouth during a livestream, and smoking indoors, has issued an apology.

Hosting a personal broadcast on the 6th titled “I’m Trash. I Lived My Life Wrong. I’m Sorry,” A said, “I think I did my broadcasts wrong. The way I’ve been streaming has been wrong. I focused on making things entertaining, but if a third party feels uncomfortable, then it’s wrong.”

A continued, “A friend reached out and asked, ‘Isn’t that your normal routine?’ After streaming for over 10 years, I realized my approach was very wrong. I went way too extreme. I’m sorry to those who watched late at night and felt uncomfortable.”

Addressing the indoor smoking controversy, A claimed it was a misunderstanding. “There were no customers, and the owner gave permission to smoke,” A said, adding, “But that’s no excuse. If it could have harmed others, I wouldn’t have done it.”

Viewers countered that smoking is prohibited in designated non-smoking areas regardless of business hours.
