“Play it when you’re going to get a refund―it’ll boost your confidence.”

KISS OF LIFE is back with their new single ‘Who is she,’ doubling down on a bold message and performance that underline their core as artists.

At 4 p.m. on the 6th, the group kicked off comeback promotions with a showcase at Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, celebrating the release of their single ‘Who is she.’ The album includes the title track of the same name and the B-side ‘Don’t mind me.’

The title track, ‘Who is she,’ centers on a question everyone faces at least once. Rather than handing out an answer, the song declares they’ll prove themselves on stage. It blends early-2000s dance-pop nostalgia with a modern polish and a hook that sticks.

BELLE explained, “‘Who is she’ is a symbolic question. Instead of giving an answer, the message is that we’ll show it on stage.” JULIE said, “That early-2000s dance-pop vibe hit me in the heart. The rhythm grabbed me right away.” NATTY added, “It instantly felt like our song. I knew we could deliver a powerful performance.”

HANEUL drew laughs with a cheeky rec: “It’s great for your commute or before an interview. If you play it when you’re going to get a refund, you’ll feel more confident.”

This release reasserts KISS OF LIFE’s identity. Even when they’re seen as underdogs, they carve out presence with their own rhythm and performance, proving their essence on stage.

Marking their third debut anniversary, the group emphasized going back to basics. JULIE said, “Three years can feel short or long, but it’s the most important time for us. Our starting point is passion and love. I hope people can feel the sincerity in our stages.”

Amid a packed slate of April comebacks, their confidence stands out. BELLE shared, “It’s our first comeback in 10 months, so I’m excited to be active alongside many artists. Our strengths are a 100% pop sound you don’t hear much these days and our unique performance. We want to show how much we’ve grown.”

There were changes during the break, too. “We gained a lot of inspiration from our world tour,” BELLE said. “Connecting with the audience gave us new energy. It helped us grow musically, and it made me certain I want to make music that conveys emotion.”

On the “underdog” concept, JULIE noted, “Since debut, our message has been that it’s okay not to be perfect―we accept our imperfections and grow together. In that sense, the term fits us.” She added, “We’re still climbing in the K-pop scene. Our dreams are big, so we have to work even harder.”

They’ve got clear goals. “Charts are the most straightforward metric, so we want to hit No. 1,” BELLE said. “We want our music to play naturally in people’s daily lives, and we want that confident encore from a music-show win.”
키스오브라이프B-side ‘Don’t mind me’ captures the freedom and happiness you feel after a breakup, set to upbeat brass and a funky groove.

With sold-out North American shows and a slot at Hungary’s Sziget Festival, KISS OF LIFE has been expanding their footprint on global stages―and this comeback continues that momentum in their own color.

“We were nervous because we prepared so hard, but after finishing the stage, it felt fun and freeing,” JULIE said. “We’re ready to show you a lot.” NATTY added, “We poured in 200%. I hope many people love it.”

KISS OF LIFE will release ‘Who is she’ at 6 p.m. today on major digital music platforms.
