Hong Seok-cheon Says He Urged Park Ji-hoon to Act: "My Eye for Talent Still Works"
Uh, But Like... SeriouslyOn the April 6 episode of SBS’s "uh, but like, seriously!", Hong Seok-cheon appeared as Shin Dong-yup’s guest.

He talked about his YouTube series "Jewelry Box." He also mentioned Park Ji-hoon, who became a “10-million” actor with the film "The King's Warden."

“I’d watched him since ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ and thought, ‘He’ll make Top 3,’” Hong said. “He had talent, and he looked great. But I wondered, since he was an acting major, why try to be an idol?”

“Then we ran into each other at an awards show,” he continued. “I told him, ‘Ji-hoon, I’m really enjoying your work. You should act.’ And it went so well. He even became a 10-million actor. Guess my eye for talent still works.”

Tak Jae-hoon quipped, “If you knew Park Ji-hoon would become a 10-million actor, why didn’t you spot Yoo Hae-jin in advance?”

Hong cracked back, “He looked like someone who’d figure it out on his own,” drawing big laughs.
