The film "The King's Warden" reclaimed the box-office crown in its 10th week in theaters.

According to the Korean Film Council’s box office database on the 7th, "The King's Warden" drew 37,815 moviegoers nationwide on the 6th, bringing its cumulative admissions to 16,129,508.

After ceding No. 1 to "Project Hail Mary" last Friday―and losing the weekend throne too―the film bounced back to first place as the weekday frame of week 10 began.

Both "The King's Warden" (week 10) and "Project Hail Mary" (week 4) are on a downward trend, but "The King's Warden" edged out a narrow lead for No. 1.

Having sailed past 10 million and then 15 million admissions, "The King's Warden" is now eyeing the all-time No. 2 spot held by "Extreme Job" (16,266,641 admissions). With its total now over 16.12 million, the gap has narrowed to 137,133.

At this pace, the upcoming weekend could be the tipping point.
