Introducing himself as a “wife guy,” Lee drew laughs and attention right away.
With his first wedding anniversary coming up, he was asked what he’s planning for his wife, who is 10 years younger. “We even skipped a wedding ceremony, so I honestly don’t know what to do for our first milestone,” he said.
The panel urged him to make it special. Kim Gu-ra shared, “I had no officiant, no cash gifts, and no MC at my wedding. Maybe that’s why I feel down every time I come back from other people’s weddings,” advising Lee to plan the anniversary properly.
Lee replied, “She’s not that upset about it,” but Kim shot back, “She is,” cracking everyone up.
Talking about his wife, Lee said, “She’s very detail-oriented and sensitive. And she doesn’t just let things slide.” He also surprised the studio by saying his first impression was that she looked like Kim Hee-sun.
“She’s like a problem-solver for me,” he added. “No one could change me, but one person did―and that’s my wife.”
Kim Gu-ra joked, “It’s like heaven sent Lee Sang-min a prophet,” while Lee Ji-hye quipped, “You’re basically in the Church of Wife now,” keeping the studio buzzing.
